| Our entire family likes Vasilisa center. All teachers put their heart to what they do. We see that the teachers are proud of successes of their students. They tell us what was done in the class and to what we should pay attention at home. Our son started going to Vasilisa when he was less than 4 years old, and within a month he learned to read in Russian. Since that time he continues to improve his Russian reading and writing skills. He also goes to Math and Logic classes as well as Art and Science.Recently he has showed an interest in Spanish, so now he goes to Spanish classes too! | If you are raising a bilingual child, no doubt you have been in the situation where your little one answers you in English only. It can be frustrating, I know, I have been there! Language is a doorway to culture, philosophy and knowledge, so I wanted to preserve it. The team at Vasilisa in Encino did a great job encouraging our little one and helping her catch up to the other kids. If you want your child to learn Russian or Spanish - Vasilisa is your place! | My 5-year old daughter has been taking classes in Russian at Vasilisa for about 6 months now. After spending 3 years in a Russian pre-school and starting Kindergarten at Lanai, I felt we needed help with keeping her Russian as we are a bilingual family and speak mostly English at home. She is now reading and writing in Russian and since we had great success with Russian classes, we recently added art classes that my daughter enjoys very much. We've also attended a winter camp at Vasilisa and had lots of fun. I very much enjoy having a school where my daughter can attend various classes that are being taught in Russian.  | I would recommend "Vasilisa" to all the families that want their kids to keep and preserve their native language..At "Vasilisa" they not only teach the kids to read and write, they also provide the environment for kids to listen Russian around them and to practice speaking it with their lassmates.I am very satisfied with the results my daughter gets.  | My son is 10 now and for the last year he has been going to "Vasilisa". He goes there with pleasure and interest. I don't push him.I would like to especially thank Tatiana, who taught him to read in Russian within the first month of attendence. He started from scratch, not knowing even the alphabet, and that is why the result is even more impressive. The teachers here inculcate knowledge, acquaint students with the surrounding world. There are numerous classes in the center. We attend a chess class, others take Spanish or Art. People can choose whatever they want their kids to learn.  | Our daughter attended "Vasilisa's" summer camp for two weeks. She had a lot of fun! Every day she would come home and tell us about something new she learned in this school. She liked very much to play fun games in Russian classes, draw pictures in beatifully decorated art studio, bake cookies, play chess and simply be around playful, funny kids in the center.
